We recently had occasion just a few weeks ago, to be passing through from Toronto to Sarasota, Florida & found Holiday Inn Express accommodations in Wadsworth, where your restaurant was next door. It was late but we needed to have dinner
We took a chance on an unknown venue; your dining room was closed but still serving in the wine room

A small group of family and friends gathered in the breakfast area late that night and the hotel staff was fabulously accommodating and gracious. I recently received the thank you note and evaluation report from our May 31St wedding reception; however, there was not enough room for me to adequately tell you and the rest of the staff at The Galaxy how wonderful they were to work with and how excellent our experience was. We had my sister's wedding at The Galaxy three years ago and didn't hesitate for a second when deciding to have ours there as well. As it was for her wedding reception, the food was incredible and everything, down to the finest detail, was done exactly as we had asked. It was such a wonderful feeling with all the stress that wedding planning brings to have complete confidence that the food and service at our reception were going to be exquisite. Thank you David, Susi, and the rest of The Galaxy staff who helped coordinate our event and make it the success that we knew it would be. Without your help the whole day wouldn’t have happened as you went above and beyond by giving advice for such things that weren’t even your job (invitations, ceremony times, vendors, etc.) and that help alone was exceptional service. Everything went according to plan and we knew once we handed final counts and the like over to you, we had nothing to worry about. We recently had the Galaxy Restaurant host our daughters wedding reception. My wife and I took the time after the wedding to do a serious critique of each and every aspect of the wedding day, with particular emphasis on the reception itself.
I am pleased to inform you that we were unable to find any area of consequence where the Galaxy or its staff could have made our evening better. The food, the service, the personnel and the management were all excellent.
I was most pleased that at least 20 people approached me with comments on the excellence of the food, the smooth and timely service of the food, and the friendly nature of all the personnel at the Galaxy. I personally appreciated the personal service from yourself and your assistant. I was kept informed yet not overwhelmed with details of the evening, a perfect balance.
Your quality service included setting seating cards, table numbers, center pieces, an ice sculpture and more the day of the wedding, all perfectly.
My wife and I as well as the bride and groom give you our highest recommendation.
Please feel free to use us as a reference, it is our opinion that the most discerning clients will be overwhelmingly pleased as we are.

Our experience with the Galaxy was surprising in this day and age. Everything was so professional, seamlessly performed and satisfying, an unbelievable value at the price, frankly. Exceptional food, attentive and responsive management and staff, beautiful facility (including a ladies room large enough to accommodate a bride and an on-site hotel.) No hidden charges, no unpleasant surprises... I’ve told everyone that the Galaxy is the best kept secret in Medina County and I'm determined to change that! Thank you - especially to David.

Dear David, Amy and Susi,
Thank you so much for all of the work you and your staff did to make my daughter’s wedding reception absolutely wonderful! Your suggestions and ideas to our initial plans showed that you do listen to your clients’ desires. It was sort of like “your wish is our demand”. We had so many compliments on how nice and elegant everything was. Many compliments on the chocolate fountain, although Colleen and I didn’t even get to have any, we heard it was exquisite tasting chocolate. We’ll have to sample it another time. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful everything was and that you made us feel like we were the only ones there. We really felt that we had special treatment. That’s wonderful to feel like that once in a while. But now life brings us back to reality. Colleen is our only daughter and our son has been married for 5 ½ years, so no more parties like that for us. We do promise to tell everyone and anyone about the Galaxy (which we’ve already done.)

Our overall experience with the Galaxy Banquet Center was excellent! David Cavalier could not have been nicer to more helpful. The food was great. Everything ran so smoothly. Everyone had a great time. Our main reason for choosing the Galaxy was David Cavalier. When we were visiting all the local reception halls, we were most impressed with him. The service was superb, and everyone was impressed that they had special children’s meals. The food was delicious, and the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. We cannot thank you and your staff enough for making our daughter’s wedding reception a most enjoyable experience. We honestly cannot think of one thing that was not to our satisfaction. On the contrary, you went out of your way to accommodate us.
The food was superb –we can’t count the number of people who told us it was the best food they’d ever had at a reception. As a matter of fact, we’ve lost count of the number of people who said it was the best reception they ‘d ever been to!
The hall looked simply beautiful and your staff was the most gracious, friendly, and efficient one we’ve ever encountered at any function.
It’s all the little (big) things that make a wedding reception so successful and memorable. Thank your for making ours just that. We have another daughter planning a wedding in the not too distant future, as soon as the date is set, you can be sure The Galaxy will be our first phone call!
